Two Langley residents spent a week in Panama City, relaying their business expertise to business professionals there.
Judy Friesen, national strategic coach for the LeaderImpact group, and realtor Tyler Schacter made their way to the Central American City in November.
Such delegations from LeaderImpact group travel around the world and demonstrate to people there how to bring business expertise and their beliefs together.
"LeaderImpact group is known for leaving behind a self sustainable movement," Friesen said.
The group went in and spoke with several local business professionals and gave them as much information as they could.
They visited realtors, dealership managers, accountants, and university students.
"Teams divided up and went into people's homes and did presentations there," Friesen said.
A group of 20 Canadians went to Panama, and it was Schacter's first time going on the mission, and he hopes he can do it again soon.
"The calibre of people that I went with was great," Schacter said. "It was a great trip for me."
He was happy to have an opportunity to share his life story and expertise.
Friesen says that everyone that went came back with "incredible momentum."
"Canadians come back very excited that their business know how can make such a difference," she said.
LeaderImpact group will play on the momentum and continue in Canada with Leadership Forum, a series of seminars with leading business professionals.
